Tekgenics, Inc., Biopharmaceutical Consultants is a newly formed biopharmaceutical consulting group led by William Schwieterman M.D., that provides expert advice to its clients on the optimal clinical development of biopharmaceutical agents from discovery to marketing. 

Dr. Schwieterman became expert in designing clinical studies for many different products for many different clinical indications through his broad experience at CBER. He was Chief of both the Medicine Branch and the Immunology and Infectious Disease Branch of the Division of Clinical Trial Design and Analysis at the Center for Biologics (CBER) during his FDA tenure—and interacted extensively while at FDA with reviewers and supervisors from the Center for Drugs and the Center for Devices and Radiologic Health.  

In July 2002, after spending 10 years at the FDA, Dr. Schwieterman relocated with his wife and two children from Bethesda, Maryland to a home and home office on the water in Mobile, Alabama--where his wife’s family is located—and founded Tekgenics, Inc.. 

His wife Pat and Ms. Erika Weeks assist Dr. Schwieterman by performing independent research and information retrieval on complex clinical matters.
